NuGel Agarose

NuGel is a new low gelling / melting temperature Agarose Genetic Quality Tested grade. (Gel Temp. 4% Smaller/Equals to 35 C , Melting Temp. 4% Greater/Equals to 65 C)
NuGel Agarose has high resolution capacity and finally separates nucleic acid fragments from 50 bp to 1,000 bp.
The low gelling melting temperatures of NuGel GQT Agarose make it compatible with In–Gel Applications (Enzymatic processing of nucleic acids directly in Re-melted Agarose) thus, it is not necessary to recover DNA from Agarose gels.
Concentrations, even of 6% can be used easily, at lower concentration (Smaller than 2%) gels are fragile and difficult to handle so special care must be taken.
Best performance is at a concentration of 3% - 6%.

Functional test:

- Fine resolution: DNA fragments Smaller/Equals to 1,000 bp.
- DNAse/RNAse activity: Not detected.
- DNA Binding: Not detected.
- Enzymatic Degradation by Agarose: Passed test.
- Gel background: Very low after EtBr staining.

Applications:

- Analytical and preparative gel electrophoresis of small DNA fragments.
- In-Gel applications.
